For example, this study took a look at how CBD may be able to effect skin health. They found that CBD was able to stem sebum production. This is the oil that skin produces to protect it from outside forces, but too much can clog pores and cause acne. Other studies have looked at the mental effects of CBD. This study, for example, found that CBD was good for helping calm down people who were about to deal with stress-inducing situations.
